Sample itinerary for a day:
Awake to the hustle and bustle of the streets below in one of the busiest cities in southeast Asia, dappled sunlight moving through your room in a hideaway Thai owned guesthouse.
Morning gathering, meditation, and vegetarian breakfast on the hotel’s rooftop terrace overlooking the Chao Phraya River.
Enjoy the morning exploring this culturally rich and vibrant city visiting Buddhist temples such as Wat Pho, Temple of the Reclining Buddha, and Wat Arun, Temple of Dawn. (above)
Street food picnic for lunch along the river enjoying classic Thai comfort foods such as fresh mango sticky rice, pad thai, vegetable curries, and chocolate peanut butter filled pancakes.
The afternoon is spent meandering through pockets off the beaten path of Bangkok, shopping at outdoor markets, enjoying an authentic Thai massage, or people watching at a streetside outdoor cafe. Fully taking in the experience of being halfway around the earth.
Dinner in Chinatown, seeing what unusual items are on the menu, followed by a relaxing evening. Take this time for reflection, journaling, or enjoying a cocktail in the terrace of our guesthouse or local bar swapping travel tales with fellow international adventurers.
